Hi Everyone
This is my first time through this Blog thing. Don't really know what I'm doing. Well, here goes.
I am Mike Sheridan, your everyday average man who this past month at the age of 58 was caught by surprise with a brain tumor. Yup, me, going along, singing a song, hit up side the head by life and the big C. My friend at work told me I should set up something called a blog. Well, since I've always wanted to be cool, I grabbed at the chance.
Is this the kind of thing I'm supposed to put on this blog?

Hey Mr. Sheridan. My dad called and told me that he had recieved an email that said you had a blog!!!! I jumped up as quick as i could and went to the computer! yay! I am so so so glad to have some sort of communication with you. Everything is going well at the big CHS. The substitute is pretty amazing; although, she could never measure up to you. We all miss you, of course, but we also hope that you are taking it easy, are doing okay, and that you don't worry too much about us. WE are doing fine. More importantly, how are you? I am so excited to be writing this!!! Woop! The "parent/teacher conference" went pretty well. I mean, seeing DR. Parker instead of you was not the best thing in the world. haha! She told me that you said to tell me that you love me! I LOVE YOU TOO!!! I was pretty disappointed that i couldn't sign this yellow piece of paper, which i assume they already gave to you. Everyone was leaving little notes on it for you. I was sad that i didn't get the chance.
Oh, and by the way...your blog is just fine...haha "walkin along singin a song"!

I think you are the coolest with the blog thing..such a trend setter! I love the whole computer thing...myspace, facebook, googlizer, msn, aol, etc. but I've never done a blog. Maybe I will get brave and do one myself. What a wonderful way to keep us all informed and you know how we all want to keep up to date with 100% accuracy. Thanks for doing this for us. Sara and I will look forward to the next blog.

It was so nice to hear from you today. I forgot to tell you that I am teaching 2nd grade now. Any tips for teaching 2nd graders how to subtract w/ regrouping?? I know you will have all the answers!!
